Moralis Enhances Polkadot Development by Integrating Moonbeam Network Support

Expanding developer tools and ecosystem access

Web3 development platform Moralis has expanded its support to include Polkadot’s parachain, Moonbeam Network, enhancing its comprehensive API suite to better serve developers within the Polkadot ecosystem.

Key takeaways:

  • Moralis integrates Moonbeam Network to offer enhanced tools for Polkadot developers.
  • The collaboration aims to streamline the transition of Ethereum developers to the Polkadot ecosystem.

Moralis, known for facilitating the transition from traditional Web2 systems to decentralized blockchain applications, has enhanced its API offerings by including support for the Moonbeam Network. This addition aims to empower developers by providing robust tools necessary for creating and integrating decentralized applications (dApps) on the Polkadot network.

Developers utilizing the Moonbeam Network can now leverage Moralis' Wallet API to incorporate wallet functionalities directly into their projects. Additionally, they gain access to a wealth of data including token prices, NFT transactions, real-time on-chain activities, user engagement metrics, and broader market insights.

Broadening Network Integration and Development Opportunities

The integration not only benefits developers within the Polkadot community but also opens doors for applications on various other blockchain networks to incorporate Moonbeam support seamlessly using Moralis' tools.

According to the Moralis website:

"Moonbeam offers familiar tools and integrations, easing the transition for Ethereum developers into the Polkadot ecosystem,"

Moralis CEO Ivan Liljeqvist expressed enthusiasm about the integration, stating:

"With Moonbeam and Moralis, you get the best of both worlds: an amazing platform to develop dApps on and world-class APIs streamlining the entire process."

Similarly, Aaron Evans, Moonbeam's Head of Operations, highlighted the partnership's role in expanding opportunities for builders and supporting developers committed to fostering a comprehensive Web3 ecosystem.

In 2022, Moralis secured $40 million in Series A funding, with contributions from notable investors like Coinbase Ventures. This funding has propelled the platform towards significant adoption, impacting major Web3 projects including MetaMask,, and Opera.
